This video is awesome, to me anyway as a huge Peyton Manning fan that changed allegiance from the Colts to the Broncos when he changed teams. It is a fan made video that appears to start with NBC's promotional video for the Broncos/Colts game and then adds to it.

I'd imagine Peyton wants this one real bad.

Your opinion of what it means to be an actual fan (of a player versus a team) matters so much to me.

Duly noted. What are your thoughts on the recent budgetary issues in Washington D.C.? I want to soak up all of your wisdom.

I am beginning to detect a limited vocabulary from you. But I am not surprised given the team you associate with. I am not interested in talking about the nuances of fandom with some random guy on the internet. But I am interested in discussing the video if you watched it.

When I was a wee tot in swaddling clothes, my favorite player was Archie Manning. I was broken up when he was traded from the Saints to the Oilers. I hoped he'd do well there, but I didn't become an Oilers fan.

I won't get into childish insults, but there is just something wrong -- something anti-sports really -- about casually changing your allegiance from one team to another. Tradition is a major part of sports. Sticking with your team through the hard times makes the good times that much sweeter. Ask any Saints fan.

Its not a pissing contest. We are shaming the OP for being the worst type of person.

Let's provide all the facts then. I have lived in Baton Rouge my entire life. I am never been a Saints fan at all. I also did not care one bit about LSU football until I became a student there in the 2000's. During the 90's, I was a huge 49ers fan and Jerry Rice was my favorite player. When he went to the Raiders, I largely abandoned the 49ers and began rooting for the Raiders until Rice retired.

Regarding college football, I was a huge Florida State fan throughout the entire 90's until they started sucking around 2002 or so. Having brothers attend CHS and play with Warrick Dunn is what drew me to FSU to begin with.

The lone exception in the 90's was 1997 when Peyton Manning was a senior at Tennessee. Tennessee was my favorite team that year. When he went to the pros, I watched him but did not root for his team above others until Jerry Rice retired.

When Peyton Manning retires, I do not know who I will root for. Andrew Luck shows promise.

I get attached to individual players rather than overall teams. That is just the way I have always been and always will be.

I think you should trademark the term "bandwagon'

I have never claimed to be anything but a bandwagon fan. It is a running joke in my family. Nothing you say could ever top what my own brothers have said. Life is too short to root for crappy teams/players.
