WHEN OUR Confidential team recently surveyed 26 NBA players, we promised them anonymity in exchange for their true feelings on King James. The conflicted responses we received are summarized by this Eastern Conference star: "I love LeBron; he's a nice guy and a great player. But I also get why people dislike him. He showed no loyalty to Cleveland, and The Decision was just a terrible idea. So, uh, I don't know what to think."

Would you play for half salary if you could play with Lebron- No because I want money not championships.

Natural talent vs hard work question reeks of jealousy. That's a dumb question anyway. There are thousands of people who would outwork lots of pro athletes but don't have the natural ability to make it in the pros. Basketball and golf might be the biggest examples of these.

Who isn't a flopper?

lame arse article

BTW, I'd take Dirk for a game winner before LeBron or Kobe 100% of the time. It's really incredible how overrated Kobe is when it comes to that aspect of his game.

Why do all of these things have to be confidential? If you can't put your name to something, then don't say it.

Because the magazine promised them its confidential, and they are more likely to be honest about someone that they are currently playing against. You aren't that dense, are you?

I'm pretty sure with that hard work/talent question most everyone just said 50/50 (makes sense) and a few people threw out 60/40.

And that flopping result is telling that NBA players seem to be oblivious that they are obviously flopping.

So they are jealous of what LeBron has accomplished and basically don't want to say it to his face? Got it

ESPN Magazine

That name right there should tell you that this article is made solely for controversy, page views, and continued talk of debate on an ESPN network.

the last second shot cracks me up.

Kobe is statistically way worse than Lebron and MJ when it comes to last second shots. In fact Mr. not Clutch Lebron is basically on par with MJ.

Yes- 50%

bullshite.

Although "the decision" lowered my opinion of him, I had zero problems with him leaving Cleveland. Why should he stay with a team that refused to put any real talent around him? They showed that their plan was to depend on him and only him to win. Superstars be damned, one man teams don't win NBA championships.

He made the right choice, he shouldn't have made such a big production of it though

Who in the hell would give up half their salary just to play with LeBron... That's just retarded. These guys have a relatively small Window of top earning potential for their lifetime. I get giving up a little to win a title after you've ensured your stability, but giving up half? frick that. What a stupid, tmz like "article"
