Once again: I realize power rankings are nothing but a talking point... but come on. really Elliot?

The Pats have jumped 3 teams including the Saints after winning on a last second TD pass @ home.

That was an all-timer, Tom Brady. With all the numbers swirling around about the fourth-quarter comebacks Brady has led in his career, I'll propose a breakdown I'd like to see: his fourth-quarter stats with the "Channing Tatum in Magic Mike" haircut of today vs. his fourth-quarter stats with the "Brad Pitt in True Romance" look of 2010 and 2011.

I'm interested in how different sports writers rank teams and their reasoning behind it. This guy is the most delusional behind Colin Cowherd.

I hope the Pats lose to the Jets. He will probably keep the Pats at 3 and move the Jets to 4.

If this were the coaches or Harris poll it might be worth getting upset over. However, unless the NFL changes its system for determining a champion to one where the top two teams in the power rankings make the Super Bowl, this is a whole lot of "who gives a shite?" My personal power rankings matter equally as much as NFL.com's.

That said, to call Sunday's comeback an "all-timer" is a bit ridiculous. The guy had the rare opportunity of getting three shots in 3 minutes to make a "miraculous comeback". He failed miserably on the first two, and finally got it done on the last one. Hell, I would think 90% of NFL QB's could do what Brady did if given that many chances. Realistically, it would have been an all-time fail in his career if he DIDN'T complete the comeback after getting that many shots at it.

I really hate reading stuff like power rankings all the time, but this one definitely made me happy.

losing to NE, and we're still #3 after 2 undefeated AFC teams. ESPN got it right! haha
