I don't have kids but my mother loves to tell the story of being in the grocery store with 4 yr old me and me very loudly asking about the music playing in the store "Mom, is this black people music?"

I was in the grocery with my 2 year old daughter and we walked by an Indian family. Dot not feather. My daughter yells out loudly as we walk by "Daddy why does that lady have a mustache?"

Look on the bright side. By time they get to middle school, you'll be able to embarrass them, usually by existing.

I have too many things to list about my son, who is now actually a decent, self-supporting person in his mid-thirties, but one time I took him shopping in an electronics store and he ran through the aisles while I chased him. He thought it was a wonderful game. I didn't feel the same. Finally I got so frustrated I sat down on the floor and started to cry. That got his attention; he came over to see what was going on and I was able to grab him and carry him out of the store.

The funny thing is, when he was in his teens and early twenties, whenever my son saw a child misbehaving he'd say, "Tell me I was never that bad" and my response was always, "So you're telling me to lie."

Haha. Mine pulled the fire alarm at the Picadillys. Took what seemed like 5 minutes to turn it off too.

A friend's kid took a piss at the top of one of the slides on the playground, just so she could watch it go down. It was hilarious, he was so embarrassed.

My daughter asked why were we the only white people in Golden Corral. She said this very loud and everyone started staring at us.

Another one, we were in line at Walmart and there was a 500 pound man behind us so she looked at him and said you have a big belly.

One of my kids called a necklace a "nicca" numerous times in public when she was younger. Went over great with the AA crowd.

Friend of mine was grocery shopping on the dog food aisle with her son when they ran into their pastor. Pastor was asking the boy about his dog when he proudly told the pastor "my dad calls him a peckerwood".

In a small store near the front glass with my daughter, who couldn't make the "tr" sound. She points toward the parking lot and says, "Vuck, Daddy! Vuck!"

A guy in Town lost his arm and an eye in an accident and he wears an eye patch and a claw for a hand. My 2 year old saw him and loudly asked "Mom... is that the bad guy?"

My friend's little girl took off her diaper after her nap and "painted" the wall with her poop. She found it when I got there to babysit.
