I would laugh at that offer. Harry D isn't that good.

I never understood why people would do trades 1 for 1 with the same position

What's there not to understand? If you think your player isn't going to do as well as the other guy's, you trade straight up if they are evenly talented.
This trade is just stupid though.

There's no way Harry is as good as Wallace. Just because he's the Julio owner doesn't mean he wants another Falcon's receiver.
This makes no sense.

Well he came to me with it. He also said it's just "an opener" and he would want Mendenhall if I could stand to part with him. He also owns David Wilson, so I think he is desperate.

If you can get rid of Harry Douglas for Mike Wallace you do it. If you can get a better deal due to his desperation, you do it.
His pain is your gain.

Mike Wallace is basically worthless. You can't even start him every week due to the inconsistency of him and Tannehill. Two nice games, then 3 games of 5 points or less.
Douglas Is sneaky. He's got Ryan throwing him the ball and he's actually a pretty good WR. They've played together for awhile. He had roddy, tony g, and Jenkins in front of him early in his career and then Julio came over.
He's now the 3rd option in an offense that has produced 3 pass catching studs the last few years. Could be option 2 depending on roddys health. The fact that ATL didn't make a major move at WR is telling.
I'd almost rather keep Douglas just to see what happens. Wallace owners will always be looking to deal him. You can get him later if you want

Falcons have a bye week, and even with that Roddy is expected to miss at least 1 game, if not more.
If you are desperate for a WR to start now, do the trade. I would keep him though. Even when Jackson comes back, the Falcons will still struggle to run, and Tony G will be double covered, especially in the end zone.
If you see Wallace sitting on your bench, don't do the trade. Douglas will be a low risk, high reward player if you are fine with your starters right now.
