CB Mills or Robinson
CB White
S Martin or Thompson
S Loston

I know that Robinson played a lot Saturday but I don't know if we has moved ahead of Mills. Thompson actually made some plays at safety that we haven't seen all season. I'm not sure if he replaces Martin/Loston just yet.

QB is the most important position in football and Fla QB is raw, LSU will win whatever the starting secondary.

CB: White
FS: Martin(Played really well last game. 2nd best player that game behind Kwon)
SS: Loston if healthy, Thompson if not
CB: RR
NB: Mills

Why would Thompson take Martins spot?? Martin is a FS, Thompson is a SS.

And I think we are about to see the best of Ronald Martin the rest of the year. His father was battling cancer early on in the season and passed away 3 fridays ago. 1 of his last wishes was that he didnt want Ronald to miss any games. He did what his father asked and played. Hard to not be distracted by that. A lot of people bashed on him without really knowing what was going on in his life. Hated seeing that.

Before the season started, I said I thought Ronald Martin would be 1 of our top 8 players on the team. And i still stand by that. He had a really good game vs Miss St. And i think he carries that over for the rest of the season gets better each game.

Will Collins get any playing time on defense or has he played himself out of the rotation?

If Robinson and white are the corners, then mills needs to move to free safety. I think they are our best 3 dbs and need to be on the field as much as possible. or move mills into the slot on nickel.

On top of that, taking Martin out of the lineup would be a mistake anyway. IMO, he has looked pretty good every game to me.

This past week in a presser Miles said RR is ready to play a lot of football, and Mills is a great nickel CB. Dont think he moves to FS. Last season he played nickel a lot and was best in that spot.

And Mills is 1 of the worst guys on our D in tackling. Would not want him as the last line of defense and having to make a TD saving open field tackle.

I disagree with Loston and he is never healthy and if he is it wont be for long. Thompson just needs to play

Oh yea I think Thompson is better than Loston. But, Loston is the 5th year senior and the coaches have always loved him. If he can play, he will start. Not saying hes better than Thompson. But thats just how it is.

I actually have been impressed with D. Thomas #13 and would like to see him get a little bit more PT. Dont know where to put him at, but Id like to see him get a series or 2 more a game at CB or nickel

Well we can hope, and Miles called Thompson by name in the Monday presser, said he graded well.

Mills is 1, White is 2, Robinson is 3. Starters are White and Mills. When we play three, Mills moves to slot, and Robinson plays corner.

Is J Sandolph #39 injured or something? I remember players, coaches among others being somewhat impressed with him at FS. As well as Ricky Jefferson, although I heard he doesn't have a grasp on the defensive plays quite yet. Is that the case for Sandolph?

This. I don't see the coaching staff letting Robinson start against Florida on the outside. Although he will eventually take the starting role from Mills.
