he still has the same number off playoff wins as tebow. Yet he has JJ, RW, Gonzo, Douglas and now SJackson. You think when Gonzo is gone along with Rody. SJ is a year older a Matty field goal is taking a huge chunk of cap space that the Offense won't suffer?

420k doesn't go along way when most nfl players are out of the league in 2 years. They might make more than the typical American but their careers are also much shorter.

The typical player isn't Drew Brees or Payton Manning. The typical player is Josh Boyce. Yes, he's fighting every friggin day to get what he can now so he can feed his family in 5 years.

And in a year that can all be gone. So guys get a nice 200k or so out of the thing they're best at in the world. I wouldn't want that to be my career earning potential.

Yes, and that is why you go to college and get a degree for free. We aren't talking about after they leave the league, we are talking about what they make while playing. They put their entire lives into a two year career, why should I give a frick?

I'd love to debate this with you more but this is a lengthy and completely different topic.

Mike Smith's Falcons almost remind me of the Jim Mora Saints

great regular season team... can't get it done in the postseason

oh... and there's that 1 team that always seems to be in the way... for the Falcons now it's the Saints... for us back in the 80s/90s it was the 49ers
