Our defense was on the field so much it was inevitable it would wear down.
We had that gift fumble and, true to the Les Studthorpe mentality, we pissed it away with predictable play calls and a very poorly executed 3rd down play that most teams would score with.

The mingo recovery at their 7. The timeout leads to the ill fated Magee jump pass. That was the game IMO. Who doesn't see a trick play coming on 3rd & goal following a timeout? Fkin Lesdrawa !
