Billionaire checklist for GTA - Possible spoilers for those not this far

I'm working on it. Put all my money into Betta Pharm, sniped the guy(though I really wanted to sticky bomb the SUV), watched Betta Pharm skyrocket.
Now it says to sell all stock when it caps the market and put all my money into AUG. Do I just watch this stock until it starts falling? The next stock market is investment is DEB and this is before the next assassination mission. So I'm assuming I just invest in AUG and watch it. Is that correct?

Yea, this was bullshite in my game. Finished the main story last night, but had invested in AUG right after finishing the first assasination mission.
Stock rose 0.9% the entire time. That tip did not work for me.

That's what I don't get.
It says to invest all money in AUG, saying it'll rise up until the last heist. Yet I'm supposed to invest all money in DEB. Am I supposed to play the rest of the missions and leave the assassination missions for when that's all that's left?

Black the way i understood that is to mentally jot down what AUG stock price was before the mission, then once it plummets, you buy low, and wait til it hits that point again.

Ah ok. At my last save point, it's on the rise, but it only got up to .11% then started to fall.
The only mission with Franklin that I have to play is another assassination mission.
I guess I'll load from my last save, let it fall, and get in once it starts to rise again. Then I'll just jump to play the rest of the game. I remember reading on here people saying that they played the rest of the assassination missions last

You're supposed to buy AUG before the final heist mission then sell it afterwards

definitely the way to go.
do the first so you can progress the game, but save the rest of the Lester missions til the very end until you have $20-$30 million per character from the heists.
then do the heists.
for each one follow Lester's advice with investing, do the assassination, lose the cops, go back to your crib. quick save in a different slot once before sleeping to save and progress the time of day.
continue sleep/saving until it maxes out.
that way if you frick up. you can always pull from the quick save slot.

Then why is it the 2nd step in the damn instructions?
Posted on 10/4/13 at 5:57 pm to Black
I didn't write the fricking instructions
Posted on 10/4/13 at 5:59 pm to iheartlsu
I was just about to edit and say that it wasn't directed towards you as if you wrote them.

Reddit made me a good chunk of money when everyone on there decided to buy the same stock. Bought $200,000 worth and sold it all for 9,000,000 when I finally bailed as they were talking about selling it all to see how quickly it crashed.

Yea one of the markets is actually powered by the users. The bawsaq I think.

Update: AUG did go up 102% after the game "ended". I didn't watch the credits last night and wait for the game to restart. Tonight I did, and the stock was up.
On to the assassinations...

If you're going off of the same checklist I did, then this should help. AUG is on the LCSE. It will rise ~100% after you beat the story. I suggest that you drop as much money as possible into it throughout the course of the game. It will stay fairly low until the story is over.
After you beat the story, you'll have all your money from the final heist and AUG. Now do the rest of the Lester missions.
There are a couple of Lester missions that you have to invest on a BAWSAQ stock. You will not be able to go to a previous save to maximize you returns on these stocks (community driven market). Unless I sold out early, I found that these stocks peeked at about 30 to 40%.
The last step is the Tinkle ride. This stock is gonna peek at about 30%. When it gets there, sell quickly. It won't stay there long.
Sorry if this is worded funny. I'm typing on a phone.

I invested all my final heist money (33 mil and some change) in Pibswater the other day when it was at 21.04 because I wanted more money to invest. It's now up to 29.21
Nothing like making millions without even having to play the game

How long does it take for redwood to peak after the debonaie mission?
Posted on 10/5/13 at 4:15 pm to MrPappagiorgio
I don't remember. For LCSE stocks you can go back to your safe house and sleep/save. Wake up. Check stocks. If they're still rising, go back to sleep. If they start falling, reload previous save and sell.

I did it successfully. 1.5 billion on 2 characters (forgot to invest in trevor on one of them.) It's pretty simple just save the assassinations for after the story.
Also, be careful with loading old saves if you mess up on the market. I've heard that it reduces the amount of money you make. (if you miss the peak, say at 60% and reload to try and catch it again, its peak may only be 20% this go round.)
Also, i didnt have anything to do between assassinations at that point and stocks were taking forever to go up so i would just go to my house, press right to save on hte bed, then back out without saving. It will progress a few hours and let you knock stuff out quick, just dont do it too many times without checking the stocks!
Happy trading folks.
