Watch some black kids tie a cow to a tree that is apparently in the throes of labor? That sounds about right.

It's a cool enough town. Go to Buffalo Wild Wings for baseball, hit some college bars tonight then campus all day tomorrow.

You should visit the cowbell store. It's their "House of Blues".

Starkville has the worst "what to do in _____" information available on Google I've ever seen. "Mississippi State bars" gets me a legal directory. "Mississippi State pubs" gets me a newspaper. The Google Map car drove around the campus.

According to Tripadvisor, there are 4 attractions in Starkville:

1. Mississippi State University
2. Cobb Archeology Museum
3. Pita Pit
4. Bulldog Lanes

Have fun

Go to The Bin (Bin 612). Coolest place in Starkville.

If you want to experience the trashiness, go to Bulldog Lanes. It's a bowling alley that charges cover just to get in.

Bulldog Bash is this weekend as well. That should be terrible.

You can add a number 5 to that: Miles and miles of green (farmland, woods, and forests).

If you have the time, go up to Amory and watch the locks on the Tennessee-Tombigbee River. Plenty of Canada geese up there. Columbus is not a bad "city," either. West Point is the original home of Bryan Foods, and I think the hog processing plant is there (no, it's not near Fayetteville, Arkansas). Starkville is a nice little town--I took the GRE a couple of times at MSU--the campus is beautiful (a bit better to me than Bama's).

1) You drive to Starkvegas.
2) Tailgate a little.
3) Geaux to the game.
4) Leave Starkvegas.

This is the only way we have ever done it.

If you can't have fun this weekend with Bulldog Bash and 25-30K in the cotton district.

You can't have fun anywhere. You should stay home and play Dungeons & Dragons in your parents basement.
