If the Browns pick A.J McCarron over Mettenberger they deserve to continue being the Browns.

not the way he's playing this year…. which could bode well for us in the long run… another year on campus to increase his draft stock and get back into the first….
then again, he could average 4 sacks a game the rest of the way out and be #2 overall pick…..

A lot of "dual-threat" QB's there at the top right now. ZM is the highest rated "pro-style" QB (in this mock). The success/failure of guys like Kapernick, RGIII, Newton, Wilson, as well as Chip Kelly's offense this year will help determine where ZM is picked.
Going into the year, the dual-threat guy was the QB of the future. However, defenses may be starting to figure those guys and offenses out, and the prototypical NFL QB may start shifting back to the pocket-passer. Especially when teams see guys like Manning, Brady, Brees still carving up defenses in thier mid-late 30's, while RGIII is struggling in year 2 following a serious knee injury, Vick is taking a ton of hits, and Newton hasn't been the same since year 1.

By the end of the season, Mettenberger will be the number one pro-style quarterback in the draft and will be a top ten (if not top 5)pick. Mark it.
Also, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Patriots dump/trade Mallett and draft Met as Brady's future replacement. I see the same arm strength, stature, and pocket presence in Met that I see in Brady. He'd be a natural fit.
