Alabama has shown signs they have the potential to be great in all 3 aspects of the game. The D seems to be closest to where they need to be while the offense has the athletes but has been inconsistent as hell Not much will improve if the offensive line doesn't pick it up.

LSU already had the offense to win the game and NC. They can just keep on keepin on. The defense though has given up more points than y'all would like up to this point. Most places where LSU is stout most years are shaky to liabilities so far.

So what team has the easier fix?

It seems like this could be a really weird matchup this year.

LSU will be more battle tested by then [playing UGA,UF & Ole Miss]. I'm still not very confident that LSU's defense will improve by the UA game.

LSU's OLine also needs to get more push to open up running lanes from JH33 & company.

Your choice.

I'm still not over the Georgia loss. I'll respond to this thread on Saturday.

It looks like Bama has fixed their defense woes.

Bama will be the more complete team by Nov 9th.

I see. I guess I'm a little numb to y'all feeling bad because I came away thinking more highly of the team after the game.

Ha ha. What gave you an idea that your offense could be great? Was it getting less yards and point against va tech than Marshall or was it Colorado st shutting down your offense?

Meh...LSU's offense gave us every reason to win. But, that defense showed me nothing positive. UGA earned that one.

Yeah the defense looked really good last week. We'll see if they can keep it up though.

"Alabama had a better defense than Georgia but Georgia's offense is way better than Alabama's offense" has been tossed around all year. And right now it's the truth. But, while I'm not banking on it, Alabama has the guys on offense to be around Georgia's level at some point.

No. Bama has the skill players to rival UGA , you don't have the line. Colorado st shut your running game down.

I know. But it's not like I'm asking for guys to gain super human strength here. Just block a little better and play as a unit. It isn't crazy to think the line will improve. Hell they already are a little bit.

But you said bama will reach UGA's offense. Teams don't go from struggling to move the ball against Colorado st to being a top 10 offense. Bama can't be a gret offense but thy can be efficient and play turnover free ball. With a good/ great defense , that's enough to win a lot of games
