But that was the offensive line's fault, right?

You did a horrible job of disguising your Mark Ingram thread

Thomas has shown good field vision and consistently sheds blocks. Ingram has horrible field vision and get's taken down easily.

To be fair, the o line wasn't playing that well the first two games of this year either. The problem with the running game in general this year hasn't been the running backs. But yeah, Mark hasn't been playing very well since he's been in the league at all.

never said they were, but they certainly got worse last two games, especially against cardinals.

Pierre Thomas is forced to be Mark Ingram and run from the I in first down and/or short yardage plays: he can't run the ball.

Darren Sproles gets the traditional Pierre Thomas runs--draws from spread formations on passing downs: 7 carries, 28 yards.

Darren Sproles succeeds and Pierre Thomas fails last last night when everybody assumes a new role.

But again, it's all Mark Ingram's fault.

Ingrams numbers haven't been all on him, but it's sort of irrelevant to me. He's shown to be the inferior back. I think Robinson is a better runner.

I'd like to see Ingram run against a tired defense in the 4th quarter of a blowout before we say KR is better.

You really think this hasn't happened yet since he's been a Saint?

Didn't KR get like an 8 yard carry on the first drive?

And he didn't fly backwards 2 ft when he got hit by a CB

I have no problem with statements like this.

I have problems with people who rationalize and fail to see the truth that we haven't been able to run block from the I formation FOR YEARS and blame it all on the guy from Alabama.

I think Ingram is mediocre but stop acting like he is the Danny Wuerffel of running backs.

What most of the Ingram Idiots forget is PT is a proven commodity in this league. He runs hard, he has great vision, and is a solid all around back.

Same goes for Sproles.

So when the D gobbles them up in the backfield, it just wasn't meant to be as both rarely make mistakes that result in negative yards.

Ingram has no vision, poor footwork, and no burst comng off the ball. Even when there is a hole, he doesn't recognize it quick enough to make it and most of the time is stopped for a minimal gain, or bounces it to the outside where he is brought down by a shoe string tackle.

I think he could thrive to a degree on an offense that's run oriented.

Somehow, Robinson appears to be the complete package.

Amazing UDFA pickup.

ingram's stats are way padded from meaningless 4th quarter carries.
