He dropped cause he didn't attend combines. He'll have his shot at the AA games. He's got the size, speed, skills, and stats but something about him seems to keep the websites skeptical. Can't put my finger on it.

It is my understanding that he made a conscious decision to spend his summer improving strength to be a more dominant run blocker, speed, and quickness.

But wait, I thought you were his father????

I am just a fan of the kids and of the Tigers. I was not that fast and athletic, he had to get those genes from somewhere!

He'll prolly have to dominate at the all American games to get his due from the services.

If he breaks DGB's national HS record while playing for a top class (5A) school in a talent rich state and contending for a state championship and doesn't get 5th * then what else has a guy gotta do...

I could understand if he was playing for some po-dunk little school in the middle of nothing but he is playing for a large school playing for championships.

His film is interesting. Very good receiver, but their QB is pretty good for a HS quarterback. I didn't see him make any hard catches necessarily in almost all the videos. He runs exceptional routes and his timing is perfect which his QB.

He reminds me of Jarvis Landry actually. Quinn might be just a hair faster if at all. Quinn smokes everyone on returns. I don't know if he can catch everything like Jarvis can within a 20 foot radius though lol.

Maybe so but he made the best catch I've ever seen from a high schooler last year.

Quinn is a burner. Speed might be his biggest asset. Not near as physical as Jarvis. He has good hands but Jarvis might have the best hands to ever come through Louisiana.

What is the little hand movement he does over his helmet as he scores a TD?

Not as physical as Jarvis at this point but has great-great hands. Will catch everything thrown to him.

If he can handle the physicality (if thats a word) of the SEC early he will see the field quick.

I agree. I would be more interested in the comparison when they were both in high school. We are comparing an SEC junior against a 17 year old high school senior.

Jarvis has some highlights on youtube that show some pretty physcial blocking in HS, check them out and let us know how he compares to trey.

Eric Martin was every bit as good. Those two stand alone, though.
