Will Trey Quinn get his consensus 5th star?

After he breaks Dorial Green-Beckham's national receiving record? He is a freaking stud WR, so polished for being in hs! Can go up attack the ball in the air to make some of the most difficult catches look easy and is extremely elusive after the catch. Through 4 games this year he already has almost 700 yards receiving…crazy! He just doesn't get the proper credit he deserves! Maybe after those records crumble he will get the recognition he deserves!

He dropped cause he didn't attend combines. He'll have his shot at the AA games. He's got the size, speed, skills, and stats but something about him seems to keep the websites skeptical. Can't put my finger on it.

"Underrated" doesn't even begin do do this kid justice. He's an absolute monster and will dominate in college.

Speed is on par with Noil and his leaping and hands are on par with Dupre. We say slot but this guy could probably come in and take the Landry role. If we can snag DW, we shouldn't see a major dropoff through the air.

Don't care. I just hope he's good at LSU. Ratings are meaningless to me, especially if it's between a 5.9 4 star and 6.1 5 star. Not worth it.

Who gives a frick? Seriously.
The star rating system doesn't mean shite. It only matters what he can do on the field once he gets on campus. His star rating isn't going to be able to help him catch passes or break tackles. If he is a baller, he will play and be productive. I am just thrilled that we have the guy. He seems like he will be a contributor and that is all that counts.

I hope Quinn gets his 5th star. He definitely deserves it. At the end of the day, I just hope he comes to LSU and produces.

It is my understanding that he made a conscious decision to spend his summer improving strength to be a more dominant run blocker, speed, and quickness. I have always been a beleiver in judging these skills in games against good competition more than in camps and combines. Here is a link to film from this season so far:
