Does anyone else think Mett had his bell rung on the last drive.

I know hindsight is 20-20 and our back up hasn't thrown a pass this year, but I believe that after ZM was sacked on 1st down he was playing with his bell rung. Perhaps we should have put in the back up.

No. But it did have an affect on him, it's the reason he rushed his last pass.

He rushed the pass because the saw a flying Bulldog out of his left eye and another Bulldog coming right at him. Even though he slipped out of his break, OBJ would have caught a well thrown ball.

I actually agree. It seems they needed to take the timeout so he could get it back together. And then 2 of the next 3 plays there is immediately a defender in his face. It sucks we may waste one of the best QB years ever at LSU and not get a title.

I dont think he had his bell rung but I do think the sack on 1st down phased him, as someone previously stated. On 4th down he did not set his feet and step up to make the throw. He stood flat footed like he did last year. But I think Cam shows him that on tape and he gets it corrected.

Agreed. Called time out right after sack. Thought he was rattled at least. Threw two more overt thrown after that. But what could you do. Put Jennings in there ? He could scrambled and maybe thrown but Mett was the hot QB. 24 hour rule. Time for Moo State.
