I know..another Saban vs les topic

I am upset about the D, but gotta believe Chief is going to get these guys to improve and that should be enough to win most of the games remaining.
My dad dislikes Les, so I told him this. We can all agree on three things.
Bama has better recruits
Bama has better coaching
Bama has an easier schedule
Yet LSU has been at least the equal of Bama.
So why do so many people bash Les? I know he waits too long to make changes, which I pointed out yesterday and time management issues, but even with all that, still impressive.

But we really haven't. Not where it counts. We have been very, very good, but Saban and his staff > Les and his staff. It's the truth.

I agree if you count 1/9/12 obviously, but even with that, who has been better against Bama than LSU. I say no one.

I like it now more than the days when LSU wasn't even competitive with Bama. Yeah- it was once like that in a very big way.
I'm looking forward to disappointing Bama this coming November. LSU is going to pin the first loss on the two time defending champions. Believe it.

No, LSU has not been Bama's equal. A good team that plays Bama especially tight, but not an equal. Not that anyone else has been Bama's equal either.

I wish I had taken a screen shot, but years ago a Miss. State poster stated if you take away LSU's (then) five College World Series Championships, the programs were basically the same. I'm sure he was referring to overall records, maybe head-to-head, but see how silly that sounds?
