Snake raises up to me while doing some yard work. I know it's a racer but I have young kids and these snakes don't back down. He just raised up on the wrong person today

I am sure it was a tough fight. I hope a toddler doesn't say no to you today.

Here come the snake fan boys. So I should have left him in the flower bed so my 2 yr old can pick him up later.

You could monitor your children, but I don't want to complicate your life with the whole parenting thing.

Just kidding, I'll never mourn a snake.

Had one in my corn pile today. If i could get my 9mm out of my holster quick enough i would of had a dead'en today. Good snakes are dead snakes my friend. By the way, do some snakes eat corn? I mean that SOB was in the middle of my corn pile.

Kinda same way...if one surprises me...It'll probably die. I don't like surprises...no matter what breed. If I get the time to identify it..it probably didn't surprise me and if not poisonous,it'll probably live.

As the father of three, with a four and two year old.....yes.

Do you protect them from all harmless things? My 4 year old picks up all kinds of shite. He brought in a handful of lizards this morning. All hurt him as much as that racer.

I tell him to not pick up snakes, when he sees one in the yard he tells me. Never seen a poisonous one around the house.

I'm with you on that. My daughter catches everything.
