He got canned by TB, I think he's at USF. I don't care if he's a lazy recruiter, the man could coach up a secondary

you know why cooper left? because he was pushed out for his lazy recruiting....these are still his players and lets be honest, they just arent very good.

we do not miss cooper, you will see in the coming years

I don't think it's necciserally Raymond's fault. The from seven made it incredibly hard for them.

Lack if experience and quality depth is hurting us. MLB play last night was horrendous, it was like welter didnt even want to play.

Yea but Miles will wait 3 more years to replace him as usually. Funny we fans can see this and it takes Miles forever to make a change

yeah he was just awesome at coaching up DBs, and getting young DBs in the right position early in their career

i think his week-to-week accountability kept guys' heads in the game. look at simon and reid's regressions

It's a shame with 6 LB's recruited two years ago we still don't have an acceptable replacement LB. In fact the only one of those with any significant PT is Kwon and he was a last minute surprise, which begs the question - how good of a recruiter/talent evaluator is Chavis?

+1 on getting him back. We have not played well in the secondary going back to the second half of last year.

Yeah, we need him back. Get someone else to help him out and hold his hand in recruiting.

This is so stupid. He always got his players to perform at exceedingly high levels. It's not his fault raymond seems incapable of doing that.

The secondary has gotten progressively worse since the beginning of last year. As was already mentioned, Reid and Simon got worse last year. But somehow lsu does not and ill not miss cooper?

The shine of 2007 has dimmed on the recruiting trail?

These guys lack very basic fundamentals man. No they aren't as talented as the guys you mentioned, but they shouldn't look this lost out there. That falls on coaching

simon was bad because hes a lazy sack, reid declined because he was stuck playing the whole secondary by himself.

he got his players to play at a high level because they were high level players...coop is a good coach but raymond is just as good. you cant judge his coaching skills off of the guys we have out there. loston, martin, mills and collins will not play in the nfl
