Battlefield 4 Beta Thread | DAY 5

Platforms: PC, PS3 and Xbox 360
Map: Siege of Shanghai (seen at E3 2013 on PC)
Mode: Conquest
Number of Players: 12 vs. 12
Duration: 2 weeks
Battlefield 4 ships with 10 maps and 7 game modes and Battlefield 4 Premium returns and will offer even more content than before, but you can probably still expect 4 new maps and 10 new weapons. Obliteration is the newest--three bombs on the map, teams must rush to arm or defend locations on the map that are to be destroyed by the bomb carrying team. It's not round-based...there is one bomb, either team must obtain it. Whichever team obtains the bomb then must arm at three locations that the other teams must now defend. If the bomb carriers drop the bomb, the defenders can then pick it up and now the roles of the teams are reversed.
The closed beta opens October 1 for all Battlefield 3 Premium members and Medal of Honor Warfighter Limited Edition owners. I have both of those, so if I have two unique codes I'd give one of them away on the board to someone who wants it.
The open beta begins October 4th for everyone on PS3/Xbox 360.

A little concerning is that I could only find offscreen views of the footage at TGS last week. What looks good is that the game appears to be running very smoothly on the PS4. We'll probably have to wait patiently for some actual HD direct footage of Battlefield 4 on a next gen console.
So, are your bodies ready? Or, is GTA V just that good that you don't give a shite?

You sure can. I'm not sure if you get a code if you have Premium. But, I do have a code from Warfighter so I can give that out when I use my Premium membership to get in.

I strangely could care less at this point because of GTA, but also because I am not going to be playing this game on this gen at all.
