The Tampa Bay Bucs released Peyton Hills today...coach Schiano is an azz to play for
At 6-2" 245 he is 30lbs heavier than Ingram
On 3rd & 2 figured Hillis could pound the rock; get the short/tough yards/goal-line situation
Dude rushed for over 1,177 yards & 11 TD's for the lowly Browns a couple years ago...Why not give him a shot?

Sadly enough, this zone-blocking scheme that the Saints are using is not conducive to a back like Ingram. Pretty much every run play where Ingram bounces outside he gets stood up at the LOS or for loss. Just can't give it to Thomas every damn time if we want a healthy backfield at the end of the season. Hopefully Robinson gets some snaps and let Thomas be our goal line rusher and reduce his snaps some to keep him healthy. Ingram needs to stay "injured".

I was actually thinking the other day that we should maybe consider a mid to late round draft pick for MJD. The Jags are gonna lose him anyway and he can basically do everything our stable of RBs do...let them keep tanking and let him play for a good team for once.

Could we afford MJD? I think he's on the last bit of his contract, I might be wrong, but think he'll be a UFA. We'd be able to basically rent him for the year, but how much would the team have to spend to keep him after that I wonder?
I'd love to have the guy. He's extremely versatile also.
