Do they cover the field?

It has been asked a couple of times on here recently and I still don't know the answer. Half say yes, half say no. The no's say that the field drains so well that its not necessary to cover, but it seems like with as much rain that is and is going to hit BR it would be good to cover it.

I asked LSU Sports on twitter and their answer is No.

@MotorbikeMikeB No, the field @LSUTigerStadium is not covered. However, it drains extremely well. See you tonight.

In the weather tread someone asked LSU via twitter. The posted response from LSU said they do not cover, but it drains very well

Never have never will

Spent a chunk of money and installed state of the art drainage system. Field will be fine

Green bay had a tarp on the field last week. Regardless of how well the field drains, every school should have own a tarp for prolonged rain events

No, we don't need no stinkin tarp. It would just get in the way most of the time. We need space to drive Mike around and such. A wet field is part of football. Deal with it.

If you think Mike is coming out today, you're fooling yourself. The current Mike is the moodiest mascot LSU has ever had.

in the 90's we used a tarp. sucked much arse to have to pull that thing out.
