I know it's early for this, but I can't concentrate at work and feel like discussing LSU.

With Mett, OBJ, Landry, Hill(probably), Blue, Hilliard, maybe even Magee leaving, where do we get offensive production from?

I think, like most, that Jennings is the real deal but we're obviously going to need more.

Are we banking mostly on landing the super recruits (Fournette, Speedy, Dupri, etc. etc) and throwing them right into the fire? or do you see "relative unknowns" stepping up to contribute in a big way?
Or should they cancel football and concentrate on other things for a year?

Magee won't leave.

Jennings, Magee, Fournette, Brazil, Dural, Diarse, Speedy, etc will be fun to watch

Magee is gonna be here.

AJ will run the short-side option all day long.

I've always wondered how he is coming along for you guys? I know Mett has done a nice job, but I've wondered how he is doing as Back up QB and with CC's offense.

He ran the best QB sneak in the history of college football against TCU.

Other than that all he's done is hand off a few times against Kent on the last drive. I wish we could have seen a bit more of him late in the game against the cupcakes.

Figured as much. I don't expect that to change, either.

Hopefully the defense will be able to carry them next season, cause he offense is going to have dry little experience at the most important positions.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit to see D'quille (sp) flip back to LSU. With what our offense looks like and our 2 top receivers possibly leaving, we become much much more attractive. His personal issues are pretty tough though, don't know if that is something that will go away.

Jennings had a sweet keep on the zone read, the commentator was like " the electric true freshman from Marietta GA"

Is the feeling that Brazil will continue to be a "specialty" RB and remain at DB?

I'd certainly feel a lot better if Magee stayed. He's proving to be a BIG threat this year.

I know Fournette is supposed to be all world, but it's pretty rare to throw a true freshman into a spot like that (especially agsinst the competition LSU faces) and have him produce.

Even more reason why these stud 2014 offensive recruits should come here. They could start from day one.

RB is the easiest spot in football for a True Freshman to produce. IMO anyway.
