It's a good thing they changed the rookie draft $ a few years back....

That's probably how they got a 1st round pick out of the colts.. The colts only have to pay im like what.. 4 million over the next 3 years?

Signing bonus accelerates upon the trade. Cleveland takes the hit this year.

Indy gets a GREAT value.

They already have one under-performing Alabama RB. Do they really need a second?

With the Browns in tank mode, Saints could have given them Ingram and our 1st.

Richardson will prove to be a top 5-10 RB by week 8.

1) Be best RB in college
2) Get drafted by dumpster fire
3) Get paid huge $$$
4) Play ok amid chaos
5) Get traded to future power not in Cleveland
6) ???
7) Profit

Not amazing considering that these guys didn't accumulate their wealth through shrewd investment opportunities and other instruments to build wealth slowly over time. Their physical gifts are not unlike hitting the lottery. We all know that lottery winners go broke regularly. Money management is a skill that's learned over time. Unfortunately most don't learn that skill until it's far too late.

40% to uncle Sam, 5% to agents and absolutely no hope of any earning capacity near that level after age of 35 (28 for most RBs). They have never had money and spend like they'll always be able to earn that amount. Not hard to see why they go broke.

Now, while I’m no mathematician, Richardson played 17 games in a Browns uniform, meaning they paid him a hefty $784,804 dollars per game (or a bit under $3,000 dollars per rush) just from his signing bonus – that’s not adding in the rest of his actual base salary.

He is right, he is no mathematician!

I think you and the other guy took me too literally. I know they are financial morons.
