i've searched and couldn't locate the tie breaker. if we beat bama, a&m beats us and bama beat a&m and we all go 7-1 who goes to atlanta?

You take the highest prime number of the 2nd lowest ranked of the three and divide by the Houndstooth Quotient: Bama goes.

If that's the case, it falls to the last tiebreaker - highest BCS ranking, unless within 5 spots. Then it's head-to-head of the top 2.

Tie breaker is based off BCS rankings

Since LSU would've beaten TCU, Georgia, and Florida( all ranked teams that Bama and txm didn't play) LSU should technically be ranked highest

But unlikely cause they will say Bama is destined or some crap

damn, with the wuss schedules of bama and aggy this tie scenerio could get really tight. looks to me if we are going to lose a game it better be to uga or uf. we really need to beat both aggy and bama.

In that scenario TAMU would likely go.

The tiebreaker would be the highest ranked team in the BCS amongst the 3 teams. If TAMU were to come into Tiger Stadium and Beat a 10-0 LSU team that just beat an undefeated Bama team at BDS, then they would likely be the highest ranked team given the polls "what have you done for me lately" mentality.

Yeah but who would we lose to? and who would Alabama lose to? You have to factor those things in as well

There's about 10 rules that apply to break a tie that have been established for years. A few are strength of schedule, scores against other common foes, points scored against each other, yards gained on offense and other rules I can't remember. This came up about 3 years ago when LSU,BAMA and Arky thought they might all tie.

TAMU will really be pulling for us against UGA. If we lose to UGA that knocks TAMU out of any chance for the SECCG and BCS championship picture.

Bama won't lose to anyone besides us this year and if UGA and TAMU beat us that leaves TAMU tied with Bama and the heads up game leaves Bama as the SEC west champs.

well since Bama beat Atm, we would have to beat Bama and lose to Atm for the three way tie to come into effect like mentioned above

Yep. Aggies have to be huge LSU fans the rest of the year except for one game.

Not sure whether you are kidding, but a good one if you are.

If not...well, I don't know what to say.
