We ignored the O line for years and its come back to finally bite us.

There's nothing wrong with Payton or Brees, but our O line is just awful.
Our starting tackles are terrible with Strief being the worst. Evans is for some reason slumping and Grubbs hasn't looked like the player he was in Baltimore. And our C is nothing more than average.
We let some decent players walk, and maybe should have invested in taking guards and tackles with our high draft picks. People that can maul and open holes.
It's sad to watch.

They can't open any holes for our backs. Brees is getting pressured more than I've ever seen.
Not sure where we rank, but our tackles are the worst in this league for sure and it shouldn't be that way.

I agree but I have seen our line improve as the season goes on in the past. I know you can't rely on that but It's just game two and I'm still staying optimistic

I am sure the Falcons would trade any of your tackles for Holmes. He has a good first quarter, and by the third he is just a useless sack of meat.

Charles Brown is a second round pick. Evans is an all pro and Grubbs was a huge free agent pick up. And Armstead was picked this year in the 3rd round. DLP has played well.
We also lost Cromer as our O Line coach this off season.

O line has also improved the last few years after shaky starts. But yes...I was screaming it all preseason...Drew can't do it all by himself.
