I don't know how they can keep letting him coach. I'd have to think the stress of his job is contributing to his seizures.

Its time for Jerry to "retire". Minnesota can't have their coach constantly having strokes on the sidelines.

At some point, MN needs to put an end to this.

Seizures going for the Kill.

Seriously though, life > coaching. Hope he gets better and reevaluates things.

Does he have seizures all the time off the field too or does he mostly have them during games?

always respected the guy as a head coach, brought Southern Illinois into a div1aa power.

I think for him, it's so hard to let go, because he finally got that BCS gig. It's what coaches work for, and with his health issues, he's fought so hard to come back to get there.

But he needs to step down, possibly look into being an adviser to a team. less stress and he stays around the team.

The "aura" preceding seizures can produce brilliant strategic tactical advantages, however. Wasn't it Patton who developed some brilliant military strategy while in the aural stages of epileptic seizure?

As a coach who has epilepsy I feel for the guy. And yes, the stress of coaching contributes to epileptic activity.
