We feed off each other's success. We were excited about him being back out there," Magee said. "I think it's going to help me to have him beating up the defense inside if I do get the ball on the outside. But it also could help him if I'm running the ball outside and that can free him up inside."
quote:

"Jeremy has a certain explosion when he gets the ball," linebacker Lamin Barrow said. "When he gets into the open field he can make a lot of plays with his feet."

Understandably, that was as close as an LSU player came to hinting that Hill is head-and-shoulders above the other backs in the Tigers' stable.
quote:

Instead, the players stuck to a party line that is true: Alfred Blue, Kenny Hilliard and Terrence Magee all have solid skills and can do most of the same things Hill.

No doubt. Even being rusty, he looked like our best back last week.

blah, blah, blah, blah.

prove it to me on the field Jeremy and off the field stop acting like a thug and support your team the way they supported you and while you're at it display lots of humility (and mean it) because you were one step away from becoming the next Cecil Collins.

get ready, get better...get even. you too bozo.

I agree that he needs to clean up his act off the field. But on the field, hes proved it.

Really sucks that Hilliard is so average now. He looked borderline elite as a Freshman. Now he looks like Shaun Alexander during his last years in the NFL...slow and constantly looking for somewhere to fall down.

People forget last year so fast. You will all see. Is aunt flow in town? Everyone seems to be in need of a tampon today. Get it together. It's game day!

yeah, so far so good. he showed nice feet on that TD last week. we need weekly incremental improvements from the oline and all of our backs if we are to be a real contender.

get better, get ready...get even.

Hill is the best back we have had since JV his freshmen year.

Magee had one good game. One. Ever.

He averaged 1.8 y/carry against UAB. And he hasn't done anything the rest of his career to anoint him the best back on the team.

If he is the best, he hasn't shown it yet.

Hill has been the best back on the team since last year and anyone that ever thought Blue was is pretty foolish IMO.

Hill was our best back in the second half of last season.
But blue and Magee are ahead of him at this moment.
