What college team has the least all time wins but does claim a national title?

I remember seeing something one day that said West Virginia holds the most wins for a team to not have a claimed national title. This got me thinking about the opposite of that. Team with least amount of wins but still has one

Probably Florida State. They didn't start playing football until like the 50s I believe, as it used to be a girls school.

SMU has won less than 500 games but has claimed 3 titles.
ETA: Looked it up:
SMU 469 wins - 3 titles
FSU 485 wins - 2 titles
and yes WVU has the most wins without a title with 708

Fewest all-time wins but claims a title?
Depends on what you consider to be a title.
SMU's three titles are one from the 30s which is done well after the fact by guys like Sagarin along with two by minor organizations in 1981 and 1982. They are #84 on the all-time list mainly due to the Death Penalty fallout, which ruined the program for 25 years.
Florida State has won multiple major titles, including a BCS title, despite being #80 out of 124 in all-time wins in D-1.
Brigham Young comes in at #64 and Miami comes in at #50, each of which has played about 200 more games than Florida State.

I'm looking at what is on Wiki.
It says they had titles from Dickinson, Houlgate Systems, and Sagarin Rankings in 1935, the National Championship Foundation in 1981, and the Helms Athletic Foundation in 1982.
To say these titles are minor would be an understatement, as most schools would be embarrassed to claim the latter two when the generally accepted titles at the time were from the AP and UPI.

SMU's '35 title is pretty universally recognized. I think it was before the AP handed out titles.
Of course their bowl loss didn't matter in those days. Bowls didn't matter until many decades later (as far as the most-recognized NC's).
