Was thinking about how emotional it was when Jenny dies in Forest Gump, and I remember almost feeling the same way when Wilson floated away in Cast Away.

Which of these moments got to you more?

Seeing him finally break down in Saving Private Ryan. Even though it was just for a moment.

The unreality of his homecoming was the worst, the "ice in my glass" speech and all that.

Wilson, man. That was devastating to me.

It's not the person/item they lost..its Hanks being a broken man. To see him lose his best and only friend when he is SO close to getting to safety..man

This. I felt like my spirit was broken when Wilson floated off.

Wilson is pretty tough to watch.

but probably the saddest part of any Tom Hanks movie is when he chooses to give up all his money and that sweet Elizabeth Perkins 'tang to go back to being a little kid.

Some people hate on his acting but the fact I was so upset by Wilson proves he has some skill.

"Earn This" is probably his biggest feels moment of all time.

Wilson floating away is huge as hell.

Jenny dying was something we all saw coming.

Damn, I forgot how many good feels moments that guy had.

People, there is a reason I mentioned only two of his movies. I am not asking about any of the others. Just the two I mentioned. I think we all knew Jenny would die, but getting caugh up in his mentality during the movie, you almost begin to think as he does, that she'll always be there and her death is just devastating.
