Why is Sports Today still on past 1:00?

I cannot stand this show. The national guys are a million times more entertaining and knowledgeable. I thought Sports Today ended at 1:00. Why is it still on? I want to hear SVP & Rusillo but for some reason am still getting this terrible local show on my radio.

They extend it for an hour on Fridays for "lock of the week." You know, that wildly entertaining and riveting part of the show where all of Ott's buddies break down Boston College vs Wake Forest and Duke vs Memphis. If that isn't fantastic radio, I don't know what is.

For some reason, I can get the 104.5 ESPN website to work but the regular ESPN website where I can listen to SVP will not work. So if 104.5 would be so kind as to replace this unlistenable Lock of the Week garbage with SVP, that would be fantastic.
Honestly, why would anyone care about random people's opinions of random, obscure games? Who thinks that is actually good radio?

no one does and that part of the show is awful. but after people's picks ott and charlie do usually break down the matchup a little.

Lock of the week is at least more entertaining than the riveting friday shows where random calllers predict the score of the lsu game.

Apparently enough people in this area so that the station can make good money selling advertisements. If there weren't people listening, they wouldn't extend the show on Fridays.

If only espn radio had an app that could allow you to listen to the national broadcasts....

Lock of the week is okay. At least Ott has to get his home boys on and off the air quickly and move onto the next one.

People bitching about Sports Today is crazy. Do you people not remember when Ott alone, Condon and Scona were the big 3? How about when Buddy Songy was on the main station (I forget what it was before 104.5) back before Gustav?
