Right now, he's nothing more than a TE 2 (for most teams) until he can prove it more than 1 week, but I think this guy is a must own in all leagues, problem is I just don't know who I'd cut:

Romo, Tony DAL QB
Wilson, Russell SEA QB

Gore, Frank SFO RB
Greene, Shonn TEN RB
Jackson, Steven ATL RB
Lynch, Marshawn SEA RB
Vereen, Shane NEP RB

Cobb, Randall GBP WR
Floyd, Michael ARI WR
Jeffery, Alshon CHI WR
Nicks, Hakeem NYG WR
Smith, Torrey BAL WR

Olsen, Greg CAR TE

I'm certainly not cutting Olsen and RBs have so much value I hate to cut Green who has locked up a goal line back spot. Floyd would be my only other option and I just don't think Thomas deserves a roster spot more than either of those

I cut Greene in your shoes, but just because I think he's feast or famine while Thomas holds at worst trade value and at most top 3 TE potential.

The only reason I lean towards Floyd is because there is still some FA WR talent out there

Running backs are a little harder to find right now:

I'm in a similar boat. I want to put a bid in for him but I have Vernon Davis who could have an awesome year, and I don't really have to roster space. The person I'd be closest to cutting is B. Powell but as of now he's the #1 RB for the jets...

Green was my first choice last night...switched the waiver to Floyd this morning, took back the request a few minutes ago and now back full circle

Greene wouldn't even be added if you dropped him IMO

You'll never play him anyway

I have him and Witten. Of course I played Witten like I should, but that performance makes me tempted to deal Witten and roll with him the rest of the year.

Do you have a glaring hole somewhere else in lineup? Seems like a mistake

You should probably deal Thomas while his stock is hot. Witten is a guarentee, Thomas is certain have a few duds. Let someone else take the risk on him and get similar value because of how valued he looks after that performance

Unless its a keeper league, in that case just stash Thomas

Drop Floyd IMO.

Greene is the goal line back for the Titans. Remember a few years ago with CJ and Lendale White?? Both had good years. Im not saying they will be as effective as CJ and Lendale, but I would never drop a legit goal line RB and a major handcuff... if CJ takes an injury Greene becomes the guy and a solid back.

And like you said. There are a couple of talented WRs on waivers. Hell maybe even better than Floyd, with RR, Broyles, DHB, etc.

Pick up Thomas. Its obvious Manning likes him and hes been there for a few years just been hurt. I remember when he was drafted and they were very high on him. Thomas is going to have a solid season. Not saying he has nights like last night every week, but hes going to be a solid TE.
