As per Dandy Don:
quote:

Anthony Jennings “should certainly have played a little bit more than one snap, we think.”
That's kind of odd.

not to anyone who's seen him play.

He needs a few redzone touches a game. I'd rather put him in on 1st down and let Mett have 3rd

Not really. The hype surrounding Jennings is legit, kid is the real deal.

He'll likely have the Ryan Perrilloux role.

Remember, 2007 BCS Champ year...Flynn got hurt and could not play the SEC CG. Thank GAWD RP was ready to go.

I feel confident he'll start getting some redzone snaps to mix it up a lil bit. Improve this years team and get experience for next year. Love it.

he's going to come in vs. bama and start the rest of the year after leading us to 2 field goals (3 if it goes to OT)

He could help solve some of the redzone issues.. He ability to move forces teams to respect all points of the field

I said in another thread that I hope he turns out like the FSU freshman.

They both have about the same size and style of play.

And in that thread I said if he was that good he would already be starting!

Which is why our offense stunk, and Cam is now onboard

You know what could really help solve some red zone problems? Having our starting TB and TE playing.

Meh, Mett is significantly better than Jarrett Lee, and he didn't sniff the field when Jefferson was suspended except for mop up duty. There's something to be said for being in a system for a few years.

But we have Les who is loyal to seniors, plus Mett is very solid.
Winston was not competing against a senior like Mett.
