A guy I know may be selling his and was thinking of buying, what is the boards opinion on these? It's a 97 and has a 150 Johnson.

Thats all I have right now......guy said he may or may not sell, but I want to be prepared to jump on it if it appears to be a good deal. I told him to keep me in mind and to send me the details when he gets the chance.

Mostly chasing specks and reds, but would also like to run out to the close in Gulf rigs on good days.

Not a bad boat but you not going to have many day where you can take it to rigs. That Johnson is going to guzzle gas and im pretty sure they only have a 40 gallon tank.

Very rough, wet and the console layout is horrible.

One of the wettest boats I've ever had the displeasure of riding in. We got caught running in from coon point in some nasty winds out of the north in a 21' or 22' bay quest. Would've been drier knee boarding behind the thing.

Wetter and rougher than a Carolina skiff.
