Looking for the best bang for my buck!

My computer just died, and I need something ASAP! I'm looking to spend $500 or less. I need a laptop that I can purchase in BR tomorrow. I know a little bit about computers, but not as much as y'all! 
It needs to be java compatible, and just want the best unit I can get!

You might be able to find an ivy bridge based low end ultrabook on the cheap right now. I saw some at staples for $399.

I got a Lenovo laptop a year ago similar to that and it's been great.
