Have you noticed how to tell when Mettenberger is going to throw deep?

He makes an exaggerated head dip on the fake hand off. Been doing it since last year.

I have noticed this,. I have never understood why he dips his head over so much.

Hey, Chicken, you might mention something about that running straight into the 9-man front while you're at it.

noticed Lee's "tell" early in his career. He did it for years, then fooled the hell out of someone one day. Boom, roasted.

He does the "head dip" after he hands the ball off on running plays.

Cam said that you have to show a willingness to not let the defense dictate what you are trying to do. Otherwise you may end up running the option for four quarters when it isn't working and get skunked in an important game. I thought his analysis was spot on.

I don't mean abandon it completely. Maybe just be a little less predictable on 1st down.

Lots of QBs do this on play action. they really need to work on having the same "action" on fakes that they do on real handoffs. in my opinion Peyton Manning and tony Romo are the absolute best at ball fake/consistency
