I realize this is metts team, his year and he needs his reps to fine tune things. Just saying if we are fortunate enough to get a comfortable lead, am I the only one who will be a little excited to see him run the offense next week

Me too. Miles didn't let Mett get snaps in 2011, other than 1 game. I would say that was a mistake looking at Mett in 2012.

How could you dare say such a thing? Put a true freshman in the game with the ball in his hands? The arse hats on here will go ballistic that you ask such an insane question. Mett had a great game, you didn't see PP7 playing as a freshman so why should Jennings?

Bad analog. Miles loves duel threat QB's. He'll drool over any excuse to give both some work now that the backup is the type of QB He prefers.

Gotta get him comfortable in game situations so that he can be our short yardage/ goal line QB. And yes, that is going to happen for more than just QB sneaks.

I see no reason not to play him with the game in hand, after Mett has had about 2.5 or 3 quarters. I do believe that Mett needs Reps in Cam's offense, so I wouldn't complain if he was left in. Les is not an advocate of pulling a quarterback no matter the reason. In Les I trust with this situation

The point was Miles didn't play Mett and could have. There were plenty of blowouts and he cold have come in and got snaps.
With or without JJ, Mett was going to be the starter in 2012. He needed more snaps and didn't get them. I agree with the poster above about Miles liking dual QB's and will get Jennings in. I simply made a statement that I hope he gets in no matter what since we'll have a new starter again next year (ala 2012).

I'm always in favor of the backup QB getting reps when possible.
