I wonder how our offense will fare now that teams know what Cam's....

Offense looks like. LSU had an advantage over TCU in that regard as they really didn't how too much to plan for. For example, will teams double team Landry on third downs.
I realize that we saw just the tip of the iceberg and that Cam will continue to implement more things. We didn't see any bubble screens or passes to TEs and backs. No jet sweeps with Brazil. In the red zone, I would like to see the fades that we threw to Landry last year thrown to the much taller Desean Smith.
I am excited in what I saw, but I am more excited by what I didn't see and what could be in store. Hill will be back shortly to give the running offense a boost. I think Blue and Magee will only get better with more playing time and confidence. We need the other WRs to step up also. Also, I can't wait to see the future at QB will look like when Jennings gets in during the next few weeks.
Wow! It is nice to be excited about offensive execution again. This offense could be scary come October and November.

Huh???...It was only one game(the first game actually).I don't think we've seen all of Cam's offense just in that one game.

If you think that was a real idea of what this offense is going to be, then you are mistaken. We did what we had to do nothing more. Just things to build on.

If we execute it really don't fukin matter who sees the offense

Now that they've seen Cam's offense, they'll know not to stack the box.
Now that they won't stack the box, the running game will improve.

Thats right its called in game adjustments ....you attack a team based on how they are playing you. ..get used to this since we got a real coordinator

Can't guard it like your sisters peehole. There is tape on every game. Just execute correctly and nothing else matters.

Well, since they use iPads for their play book, anyone can get the "LSU Offense Playbook app" from iTunes, free for a limited time and an upgrade only cost 99¢. Now everyone will know Cam's offense.

I'm curious when Cam will finally open up the secret playbook too.

Uhm teams probably scouted Cams offense with other teams as well as LSU's offense. I am sorry I didn't see much deviation from last years offense.
Could someone please enlighten me on this revamped offense?
I saw the same running game and a passing game that had some experienced receivers and QB.

I don't feel like he tipped his hand much against TCU. The good news is he really won't have to tip his hand the next 3 weeks. So we should have a little something in the back pocket for Georgia.

We saw the offense. Everyone needs to understand offensive football. It is about numbers and matchups.
We forced TCU into choices, TCU made those choices. We exploited our advantage, correctly and efficiently.
We must execute better on 2nd and long. I didn't think McGee or Blue were bad, but Hill is better and will help in that regard.
There are no secrets, there are no special super duper plays or packages. That is the offense. The sooner people understand that, the happier they will be as fans.

Are you that dense to believe EVERYTHING was made evident in one game? Rocket science is something you should avoid at all cost as a career choice.

Not sure if serious or retarded.

Now that teams know they can't sell out against the run, nobody can really prepare for a balanced prostyle offense with quality skill guys, good O-line protection and an accurate QB.
Every D-coordinator on LSU's schedule just saw Mettenberger play like a freaking pro, and shouted obscenities at the screen. Mettenberger even showed some serious emotion after a check-down from the sideline. The man looks confident and poised with much improved mobility and touch. I know it's one game, but he looked like the best passer since JaMarcus with instincts like Matt Flynn.
If the offense starts spreading the field and running outside a little more, watch out SEC.

What plays and formations were different from what we have seen in the past.
Explain it to me as if I am retarded since you think you are so knowledgeable.

quote:Vince Lombardi couldn't have said it any better, but he did say it just a little differently. The purpose of repetitions in practice is to develop consistency in execution. I'd rather have 10 plays we can run with a high level of consistency than 100 plays we hope will confuse the opponent, but that we are only hopeful about the execution.
