Will Brazil follow the same timeline as Hill did last season?

Im curious if JB will come onto the scene later into the season with more reps similar to Hill. I'm confused though how the speediest guy on the team doesn't see immediate action.

Miles mind games is confusing. Not falling for secret play book.

having a complete understanding of the playbook, being physical to the point of attack and adjusting to college life are all things that freshman have to worry about.

Brazil may or may not see a whole lot of PT this year, be prepared for the latter scenario.

You can be elite in speed, but if you don't understand the concepts and schemes, what's its true value? I'm not suggesting the kid doesn't know the schemes... I just recognize he is a freshman and needs a little more grooming.

Or maybe he's a true freshman prone to mistakes. Like DThomas in 2011 for Oregon. No reason to throw him in vs a stiff run defense. But as always, the rant > les miles

Because he is a true freshmen, and there are a lot of talented running backs ahead of him.

To see what Catalon showed us about speed, you would have thought JB and Cam would be salivating at the opportunity.

Nah, it was just a question and a comment, not an implication that miles made a bad decision in any way, but you can continue jumping to conclusions.

Isn't he taking most of his reps at CB?

+1

If LSU was playing North Texas then Brazil is at least taking a punt at some point. Next week we're going to be hearing how Brazil and White need to start b/c they tore UAB a new one.

CB and RB -- my guess is he will learn both and after signing day this year.. they will make a definitive position change for him. I bet he becomes a return specialist and receiver --- ala skyler green

I think if the game wasn't so close last night we would have seen Brazil and the rest of the hyped up freshmen. I expect to see him at some point in the next two games

So which is more accurate in your opinion?

Questioning his potential impact on a game with speed or you implying he is prone to mistakes? One is logical the other is complete made up hearsay.

Perfectly said! Oregon had to ease Thomas into the game. He was a TD waiting to happen, but also had to learn to let his blocks set up and protect the ball better. Brazil will get playing time probably in the next 2 games and we'll see how he does

Yeah it's a given that he'll return kicks, but I believe miles has gone on record saying he'll see the field as a DB this year along with Jefferson. I haven't heard much talk about RB, just speculation.
