Two weeks until my birthday-where should we go for dinner/drinks?

Probably about 10-12 people in BR. I have no idea what I want. Where would you go if it was you? Going to NOLA two weeks after so going to NOLA for this too is not an option.

Have done birthdays at Ruffinos, Tsunami, Zea, PF Changs, Pinettas, Thai Kitchen, Dim Sum, not picky can be cheap or expensive or whatever.

Never been to Robertos or Omi yet. Not sure what to do. Just something good for a get together. Go out all the time so it is not like "a big night out". Just want a restaurant that is decent and can accommodate a larger group preferably with reservations.

Not sure if I'd do a group of twelve there, but definitely check it out.

Bay Leaf comes to mind as a tasty option.

ETA: Definitely check Roberto's out when you're far LESS than a party of 12.

I don't think they take reservation...

I am thinking Robertos or Jacmel (I think it is called in Hammond) with hubs for my actual birthday dinner and Omi for the group thing since they take reservations.

Bay Leaf may be a good option also but I know this group eats all manor of authentic chinese, dim sum and sushi/hibachi. Not sure that everyone eats Indian. Several do but not sure of all.

eta: I always forget about bay leaf because the only time I am in that area of town is for soccer at the Londoner.

Also look at the Grape Vine in Donaldsonille. Very good food, take reservations, and have live music most night...
