I thought for sure he would be the 3rd or 4th DT in the rotation. I only saw Johnson, Ferguson and Thomas. Anyone else surprised we didn't rotate more guys in like we did at DE?

LSU's d line rotation is more of a myth than anything. We play 5-6 players tops.

I guess I missed it. I watched it closely in the 2nd half when TCU started mounting a couple drives. I paranoid after last year when our defense was getter gassed in the 4th quarter.

I was sort of surprised my self, not about LaCouture but about freshman in general. Did and of the incoming class get
any PT other than on special teams?

Maybe the staff feels better about the depth and doesn't feel like they need to get the young guys experience as fast as they did the Last couple years

Defense does not get gassed so easily when the offense sustains drives.

I really think the coaches wanted to make sure we got this win and held off on playing the younger guys. The game was close and TCU is a good team. I do think a bunch of freshman will play this year and make huge contributions. I just don't think the coaches were confident enough to have them out there much this game. They will be worked in slow and by the 3rd or 4th game be playing a good bit.

He was in briefly after Ego's personal foul. Made a pretty sweet spin move right back into his blocker on a pass rush. Big boy's nimble lol

The spin button on his controller got stuck and is probably still dizzy as we speak.

He came in some. But there was definitely a top 3 dt rotation. With him being 4th.
As for other frosh who played. Desean smith played a lot. Definitely the most. Gilmore played a bunch as a short yardage te on goal line. When Jennings came in boutte came in for a sneak as the ol who lines up just off line in backfield. Not sure if anyone else aged other than special teams.
