Called a cajun restaurant in Clear Lake and they're calling their distributor for me. Does anyone know a place I can get some before Saturday?

I know the smartass answer is "from a frog", but I did bad prep for gameday this year and I only have a short time to find them.

Thanks. Some girl at the main desk didn't know anything but that I might have to buy a whole case. Transferred me to sales and have been patiently waiting. Appreciate the info!

Nope. Nor do they need to be Texas frogs.

Are they from China? A buddy of mine picked up a box frozen a couple months back and they were Chinese !! I had no idea they were raising frogs now

Floyd's on I-45 in the Clear Lake area. Always have them on the menu. Also Abe's on Clear Lake City Blvd.

I was just going to jump in and mention this as something to look for. Personally I wouldn't touch them with a 10' pole, same goes for Thai softshell crabs.

Awesome place. Get all of our deer processed there, expensive but well worth it.

Second that!
Wherever you end up getting them or finding them ask if they are local or at least from the U.S. A lot of frog legs come from China like the Chinese crawfish.
I just bought some last weekend from Pepper's Fresh Market in Prairieville LINK / supposedly from the Dulac area here.

Good idea. Damn, I just ate there a few days ago and didn't think about it.

Yeah, that was my first call. I'm still waiting for them to call me back with info from their supplier. This would be the easiest place for me (or Floyd's). Thanks!
