Winchester Super X2 12 gauge shotgun...
any reviews, info appreciated. also, price range for one new, still in box... yes i am doing some internet "research" too, but wanted the OB opinions also...

I just sold my SX2 to buy the SX3.
I had only one issue with my SX2 and it was that it would not shoot Winchester low brass shells. Ironic I know, but true. It shot every other brand but those. It was a very reliable gun.
I had the Shadow Grass DuraTouch. If you go with DuraTouch, be aware that Deet and some other chemicals will eat it up. I never had any issues with Deet or discoloration some people have reported with it.
I sold my SX2, which I had had for 7 or 8 years for $575 with a sling and 2 choke tubes. The gun was in excellent condition. Great gun, and I almost kept it and installed a Sure-cycle.

My dad had one until an urban democrat decided he needed it more. He shot the silver, xtrema 2 and black eagle 2 before deciding on the xtrema 2 as a replacement and still bitches about not having his sx2. They are pretty good guns the last ones browning built in Japan if memory serves me right.

thanks for the info MSW and LC. I have a chance to get one, still in the box for around $600 and was just wondering.
