Notice it didn't eject that round. Maybe the slide ran into her not letting the round eject and the next one chamber. Don't think it would have been better with any other gun. If the slide isn't allowed to go all the way back then the next round won't be fed anyways.

Yup, slide didnt go back far enough to be the ejection process. The shirt is under the hammer, not in between the slide and hammer.

This wouldnt have been good for any gun. I just like messing with the 1911 folks.

I think the most important part of this story is she had the mentality to drop that gun and draw the backup. I seriously doubt most would have that frame of mind when shooting.

If she would have been shooting a Glock all she would have had to do is chamber another round. She would not have been stuck with the gun stitched to her chest. That could have literally been a life or death situation. Little things like exposed hammers and manual safety can become big things at the worst times.
