COWBOYS CLASSIC INFORMATION UPDATE
LSU TIGERS vs TCU HORNED FROGS




HERE WE GEAUX TIGERS !! Less than 2 weeks till the Cowboys Classic and we have a slew of information to pass along to you. There are 2 events scheduled this week to kick off our TIGER festivities:
•Wed Aug 21 - partial movie screening of Ole War Skule

GAME TICKETS

LSU Alumni Dallas does have Cowboys Classic game tickets available for purchase. We have 10 Total GameDay Packages for sale at $195.00 each; tickets are on the LSU side and includes a ticket to our pre-game Tailgate Party, free parking, free shuttle service between J Gilligans and Cowboys Stadium, free food, tailgate beverages and so much more. We also have some tickets available on the TCU side, 400 Section $125 and 200 Section $300.

GAME DAY BUS TRANSPORTATION

LSU Alumni Dallas is providing game day bus transportation from various locations around town. Park your car and Ride with us !! These are 55-passenger buses. These will route either to the Tailgate Party or Cowboys Stadium. $40 per ticket.
HILTON LINCOLN CENTRE - SE corner of LBJ and Tollway in Dallas •Depart at 1pm and be dropped off at our Tailgate Party
•Depart at 4pm and be dropped off at the Stadium

EMBASSY SUITES DFW SOUTH - 183 and Valley View in Irving •Depart at 1:30pm and be dropped off at our Tailgate Party
•Depart at 4:30pm and be dropped off at the Stadium


Everyone will meet the buses immediately after the game outside the stadium. You will not be going back to J Gilligans; you will head directly back to the hotel.

NFL RULES - WHAT YOU CAN / CANNOT BRING INTO THE STADIUM

TIGER FANS BEWARE !! The new NFL regulations concerning bags, purses, backpacks for NFL Games are also in effect for the Cowboys Classic. You can whine, you can complain, but it's all going to fall on deaf ears unless you follow these specific rules.

ALLOWED IN:
•Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
•One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags
•Small clutch purses, approximately the size of your hand, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium with 1 of the clear plastic bags
•An exception will be made for medicallly necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose
•You also will continue to be able to carry items allowed into the stadium such as binoculars, cameras and smart phones



PROHIBITED ITEMS
•Purses larger than a clutch bag
•Coolers, briefcases, back packs, fanny packs, cinch bags, seat cushions, luggage of any kind
•Computer bags, Camera bags
•Any bag larger than 12" x 6" x 12"



GAMEDAY TRAFFIC FLOW MAP

The City of Arlington has provided a map that shows the traffic flow we are to take on gameday to get to J Gilligans. Click Here to access the map and be sure to print it out. TRUST US ON THIS ONE ... Follow this route Tigers, you do NOT want to get tangled up in all that traffic around the stadium.



LSU STUDENT RECRUITMENT EVENT

LSU Division of Student LIfe & Enrollment has scheduled an official gameday recruitment event for all students interested in LSU. GAMEDAY ON THE GEAUX !! will be held on gameday from 11am - 1pm in the Arlington Convention Center. Future Texas Tigers and their parents can mingle with LSU reps, ask questions, and enjoy an exclusive performance from the Tiger Band and LSU Cheerleaders.

It will also be A&M's first visit to Tiger Stadium as an SEC team. Which is pretty damn cool, but go ahead and ignore that.

I'm coming up from New Orleans after work Friday, yea, 8 hours after work! No matter, I couldn't be more excited about it.

Wow glad I got my tickets from Tarrant Tigers(fort worth alumni chapter)because those are more expensive.

But, all recent and future good/great OOC games will be played in Texas ?

Good to know, wasnt sure if Taxis would be tough since they mostly likely wouldnt get a fair back. If all else fails Ill see if Uber will come get me.
