Our group is trying to decide which course to play. Weve played the bluffs numerous times and really enjoy it. We're in Baton Rouge. Is it worth the little extra drive to play Atchafalaya?

My crew preferred Latour in Mathews over Atchafalaya.

both are very nice.

Atchafayla is 10X nicer people to deal with. The Bluffs people suck...Atchafalya has amazing food and GPS golf carts. Also all the range you would like. I played their two weeks ago and shot an 84. The greens had been airified a week or 2 in advance I guess. I had 30 ft birdie putts on almost every hole...I couldnt get it close! my biggest downfall that day.

The Bluffs are really nice though as well...Just prefer Atchafalaya.

They greens at the bluffs are probably still in bad shape.

I wouldn't pay for the bluffs again until they get their greens in better shape. They were awful a few weeks ago

Atchafalaya is a hell of a trek from Baton Rouge.
Clubhouse is nice though, good food. Course is pretty nice although when we went last weekend they just aerated the greens so that sucked.

Playing LaTour is like going fishing. If the wind is blowing, you can have a good time drinking and socializing b/c you won't catch much fish and you won't golf worth a damn.

Atchafalaya is nice but greens were bumpy yesterday. Probably be ok by this weekend or next.

I like the bluffs layout, but the greens weren't good 2 weeks ago during the state mid-am. 2-3 holes were flat out awful.

Well I played the bluffs last week. Just seeing if its worth it to try atchafalaya. Bluffs #4 (par 3 uphill over the little pond) green was absolutely terrible.

Carter is usually solid. Don't think I've seen that course in "bad" shape the times I've played it. I like the layout as well. Would pick that over the bluffs
