Crumbled/.grated Cheeses

Who buys this crap? It never tastes anything like the intended original product. You can't take a second to crumble feta or bleu cheese? It's crumbly anyway.
Some supermarkets have no whole cheese, its all sliced, grated or crumbled, at about twice the price per pound. I had to go to three stores this morning to find a block of bleu cheese.
No wonder chain restaurants do so well.

rouse's has a decent selection of cheese as does winn dixie. Walmart does not. You have to know the store.'

And sometimes stores put the "good" cheese in a separate section of the store than the shredded stuff.
For example, Walmart often has uncrumbled feta and some other more gourmet block cheeses in a refrigerated island near the deli, but only tubs/packets of pre-done stuff in the cheese section. Matherne's has their better cheeses in a different area too, either near the deli or near the wine section.

I buy crumbled feta. Tastes fine to me. Sorry for not crumbling.
