Yang's Poboys, any good?

Just moved into a place near canal and city park about a month ago and noticed a poboy shop called Yang's nearby. Looking to stop there after work, any recs? Or is the place not worth my time.

Shrimp is okay, but the roast beef is an undiscovered gem in NOLA.

Went for lunch today. Got the shrimp, good size for the price and had a good taste. Not the best I've had but I liked it.

Get the hamburger, its got some hot sausage mixed in with the ground meat...very solid place to eat in that area

very good, great RB poboy and they have good specials like the stuffed bell pepper and the redbeans.
I really like that place, good prices too.

Anyone know why Yang's is closing? I read on mid-city messenger that Magazine Pizza was moving in that location.

The place I work for insures him, he said he was tired of running it and wanted to travel. Said he is renting the space to a pizza place, but not sure who.

Damn what the hell is going on? Crazy Johnnies, Joe Sepies, now Yangs. That's 3 lunch spots for me closed this week. Oh well at least pho shops keep opening up all over the place.
