I use Sportsbook. I have never had a problem with them. Just deposited a check I got from them on Wednesday. The process from the time I submitted my order for the check to arrive was around 3 weeks.

So, you deposit money in a "wallet" of some sort. Say you lose money, you're automatically deducted that amount. You win money, your wallet increase X amount. To withdraw funds you have to be cut a physical check and not just transfer to bank account or say Paypal?

Yeah, you use a credit card to make your deposit and the funds show up immediately for you to use on bets. You need to provide a picture ID and a copy of a bill before you can withdraw. You can have them transfer the money to a bank account, but you would have to give them your bank account number. I didn't really feel comfortable doing that personally, so I would prefer the check. If you use the check method, you don't have to provide an account number.

I got a 13 day request to check in hand payout from Bovada. But the check is from an Asian bank. Some banks may look at it funny (they tell you to stick it in the overnight vault), but I had no problems handing it to the cashier and getting quick credit.

Yeah the bank of the check I got was from Canada.
I didn't think 3 weeks was ridiculously long to wait. I would have expected it to take about that long. 13 days seems pretty fast.

I was very pleased with Bovada's service. They processed it in a couple of days and the check was on my doorstep in under 2 weeks.
The problem with wiring is that a)the books prefer to use Central American wire destinations requiring you to b)lie to Western Union or Moneygram because they will ask you why you are wiring money (and gambling is not a good answer). If they give you a Philippines address it works. But I just use a throw-away visa card; wiring was too much hassle.

5dimes is really popular on this site. I used it and loved it but beware. If you deposit with a prepaid visa make sure you keep the card because you will need it for withdraw. I threw mine away and it made it difficult to withdraw.

Bovada is the slowest in releasing lines.
They also have the worst lines and juice. Not many options either.

My mobile deposit from my last withdrawal didn't acknowledge the weird Canadian check
As far as books go, I tried to use my VISA card to do an online deposit @ 5dimes and it got rejected. What else is an easy way to deposit for them? I was thinking of using it as my 2nd book for futures betting.
FWIW, I'm not a huge fan of 5dimes interface, but I know it's a really popular book and their reduced juice is awesome.
