Ok -
I may be just posting to myself here, but here it goes - I'm not done looking at everything, but there are some items that need attention just to get the scoring up to date and figure out who is not even playing or interested.
It looks like our scoring is accurate through week 3. I have updated the fixture list and scoring tabs for each of the weeks since then, but need some help from the owners who posted lineups but not scores to go ahead and post their score.
If something from below is not accurate, please let me know.
For Week 4: Felaini Fro and Kicking and Screaming had no line-ups.
AZ & 225 - PLEASE POST YOUR WEEK 4 SCORES
For Week 5: Fellaini Fro, Self Portrait, Sporting VB and REal Deal had no lineups.
AZ, Kilo and Col REb - PLEASE POST YOUR WEEK 5 SCORES
For Week 6: Only half the freaking league posted a line-up. That needs to be better or this will fold by Week 8.
REal Deal, Red Card, Fellaini Fro, Kicking and Screaming, and SVB did not post line-ups.
AZ,PT, and BHO, PLEASE POST YOUR WEEK 6 POINTS.
I think it would be best to either post your points in the spreadsheet and copy and paste it, or post it in the thread and then put the total in the spreadsheet. EIther way, we want to be able to see how you derived your point total.
What sucks if that my last three opponents have not posted their scores, but also did post-lineups, so I don't have any default wins yet.
Once scores and up to date, I will update the standings. 0-0 ties count as a loss for both teams.
We are having more no-show line-ups with each week. By Friday, if they have not posted, I will try and see their most recent post and respond to it with a request to post their line-up.
Come on guys - with a few minutes time we can at least get this up to date.

Thanks for stepping up, I personally couldn't do that given that I knew I couldn't be reliable because there are times I disappear from the board.
I will help out when I can on stuff in the Spreadsheet, i.e. getting everyone's rosters update to date on the roster tab to make it easier to see who we are actually playing against when we play the locked teams.

No problem guys. I really feel that once things get going and established, it will really only take about 15-20 minutes a week to check things over a bit and maybe deal with things.
That would be great and I appreciate all help. By locked teams do you mean the ones no one is posting line-ups for? I'm assuming we would just have them forfeit - so you don't even have to worry about their line-ups. But if you and/or others feel differently, let me know.
I think thats a definite - no one (me especially) wants to go back three weeks to do this @#@# or try to track anyone down to do it or have to update records/standings that late.
I will add one caveat though - if you let us know ahead of time, I have no problem with it. How hard is it to say - "guys, its crazy this week, I probably won't get a chance until next week" - I don't care if you're out of the country and just don't want to post that online for security reasons - just say its crazy. No one has to know about your enlargement surgery or whatever it is.
You guys ok with that?

Yeah that's what I am talking about.
I understand what you say but I was think if they have a locked team we just plug in every time then there's still a chance that they could be competitive and beat us, adding more drama to us playing, besides having just a guaranteed win.

locked teams because you don't post a squad is bogus imo. if you want to keep same lineup as last week, just say... same as last week. or you know, highlight your team ctrl c, then ctrl v it to a new post.

If we can't get there players and have to lock their teams then I feel it's only right to come up with their best said line-up and that will be their go to each and every week that you play them, instead of just getting an automatic win.

HELL NAW. This league is obviously bogus and my end game is to get into the one where people actually give a frick. I'll be damned if some frick head beats me one week and hasn't participated since the beginning out of pure luck.

In all honesty - I'm torn on the issue.
My first instinct has been to make them forfeit victories - but that also leaves a big issue - if five teams go away, thats essentially more than half of the weeks where things are boring as hell because you're not playing against anyone.
On that same note, if you give them a default team, it must go back to the beginning of people leaving or else its not fair to those of us (ahem - me) who have yet to play against a non-roster posting opponent.
I was thinking about this last night and the only middle ground I can think of - when you play against a team that no longer exists - its a 25 (or maybe 30?) point minimum. If you score 25 points or more, you win. If you score less than that, its a tie? Its a way to make you actually involved in your team and decisions for that week.
What say you guys?
Also, just an FYI - I would be STRONGLY against redrafting the players from any teams that leave. For one thing - we don't need teams made up entirely of world class players - there is no fun in that. For another thing - at what point do you say X team is done and we need to draft them? This week? Next week? We could have three different drafts of these teams as time goes on. We have the teams we have.

Well, I think we're not going to have 10 people play each week (that ship has sailed), but I hope we can get it back to 7 or 8 most weeks.

You guys should score their most recent rosters. They will win a few games, but not many. The two early quitters last season finished 9th and 10th in both points and the standings. They got ravaged by injured lineups after a couple months. One even had a good team at first.
